About the Firm
Eastern Appraisal & Consulting, Inc. (“EAC”) is one of the oldest and most experienced firms in the region. It was founded in 1975 to provide real estate valuation, appraisal review and advisory services throughout New England and almost anywhere else clients require. Extensive experience in research and analysis distinguishes EAC products. H. Randolph Glennon, President, is a CRE member of Counselors of Real Estate, an MAI and AI-GRS member of the Appraisal Institute, and has an MBA with a real estate concentration. Ran has more than 25 years of appraisal review, valuation and consulting experience. His specialty is Appraisal Review, signified by the new AI-GRS professional designation, for varied clients and purposes. Associates have or are candidates for professional designation and are state licensed and certified.
Our goal is to help clients make sound decisions based on the well-supported opinions of seasoned professionals. We offer independent, timely, reliable, cost-effective analyses and reports. We are committed to the integrity, service and excellence our clients deserve. Answers to many real estate questions do not require an appraisal, and so consulting is an important service we always offer. We objectively use experience and technical competency to provide unbiased advice and guidance in pursuit of our clients’ interests. Strict privacy and confidentiality in all client relationships are maintained.
Our proven performance and expertise are based on extensive continuing education and training; active involvement and leadership in related professional organizations; and diligent use of modern appraisal and consulting methods, computer technology and the Internet. The firm’s extensive market data library is continuously updated.
Clients receive the proven benefits of a traditional corporate structure with centralized offices, data, technical resources, scale economies, staff support, management and quality control. Communication is efficient and effective. We associate with a wide range of collaborating professionals including architects, engineers, developers, assessors, realtors, property managers, financiers, consultants and other experts, when appropriate and necessary, to get the job done right.
All work complies with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (“USPAP”), the Uniform Appraisal Standards For Federal Land Acquisitions (“Yellow Book”), Interagency Appraisal Guidelines, and other regulatory authorities. The firm faithfully adheres to the Appraisal Institute Code of Professional Ethics.
